Upcycling
Project made from waste from reuse boxes distributed around the university and a scanner. The material has been compiled during a week, by the classrooms destined to the graphic itinerary and the serigraphy workshop. Creating a "collaborative" work which was the initial guideline of the statement. On the other side, Arte Povera represents the main reference of the project for its concept and its ways of doing.
*Reuse box
I opted for a simple binding with an elastic band and marked folds, causing the papers to overlap. And in this way more pages can be added, creating a dynamic and mutable publishing.
Compositions created from; reprints on recycled paper, juxtapositions, transparencies, cutouts, scraps, acetate paper.....
Pictures by Paolo Mussat Sartor, who fully introduced himself into the Povera movement and created a great artwork.
I introduce Arte Povera through an article (1967) by Gemano Celant, the main style critic. And also from quotes and photographs across the book.
